Is RNS-E still valid today?

I'm still driving my Nogaro blue 2002 BAM S3 that I bought in 2006 and has the original none Bose double DIN Symphony unit, but years ago I upgraded the other parts with an AndyMac kit.

My Symphony has the volume control issue where volume is broken, but now the other control on the right is failing.

So my question: Is RNS-E still the unit to go for today to keep things standard looking? Or are there other alternatives? Just looking for options really. I have read the older posts on fitting and such but they seem to be years old.

Thanks.

probably best looking into some sort of android/carplay unit, most now have model specific models so they look and function like OE
