Audi now have one deal which is 6.9% but only £1750 Audi contribution and one at 8.9% with £3575. What’s best? As I’ve looked at the figures and can’t work it out. Balloon is the same and monthly’s aren’t much different but total amount of credit is less on one.
S3 pcp deals explanation as Audi have 2x deals with different Apr/contribution amounts.

Well the larger contribution one would be less as this means you're borrowing less albeit at a slightly higher rate - Quick maths - £30K car less £1750 + 6.9% = £30199.25
£3575 + 8.9% = £28776.83
I know that's not an exact science with compound interest etc
A saving is a saving lol - To be fair some people look at the monthly payments, others percentage and total credit - It is a rather strange offering though
Yeah it’s the fact it’s advertised as 2 separate deals, must be a reason lol. Also, does anyone know if Audi are flexible on upgrades? As the fl s3 is £660 a month but if I want the upgraded exhaust, the monthly goes up to about £810 which is crazy for an s3. If I did upgrade to the fl id have to get it with the exhaust. Audi are unlikely to do any deal on that are they? I currently pay £525 for my pfl black edition so I can’t go up to £800 odd, that’s crazy lol

Well this is my first car from them so probably not lol. Just the jump from £525 to circa £800 a month for almost the same car is crazy.
Audi's price increases are massive lately and the sports exhaust is a lot of money and quite frankly should be fitted as standard really in my opinion
I have a Cupra Leon 300HP 2023 on Lease - Retail Price was £42,500 - Facelifted model is now £49,750 just not worth that increase
Just wondering what they’ll do when it comes to end of my pcp as surely most people like me who have an s3 aren’t going to want to pay an extra £300 a month for the new model are they. Thats a crazy increase. Well without the £4k exhaust the monthlies are around £670 which is still a lot more than I currently pay. They must be losing customers surely unless they are doing deals
Dealers don't sell cars, they sell finance.
This almost sounds like the finance company is offering the dealer a 'bung' if they get a higher interest rate deal, which the dealer is passing (at least some of) on to you?
But wasn't this what they got caught doing as part of this whole "PCP scandal" thing, or was it just that they were pocketing the 'bung' from the finance company?

Can I ask why do you need the exhaust ? I have the standard and it sounds quite good to me. I remember watching a Matt Watson vid and he thought the sound difference was minimal, for an extra £4k I’d want it to sound incredible. Has anyone proved there is a performance improvement with the upgrade exhaust ? I agree with the monthlies being significantly more, but deals still can be had especially when it’s near the end of the month etc. At the moment I guess a discount will be a bit shy due to the new reg week, but not everyone is buying like they used too.
They recently said they’d do my the s3 with the exhaust for £46k. Seems a good deal when it comes out at just under £54k on the Audi configurator. Currently the monthlies are too high though as they said I only have £1k equity in my car. Had the car 2 years in October so that’s a shame it’s only got £1k in it 2 years into a 3 year pcp. What do you think is the most id likely get at the end of my 3 years? Max of £3k equity? My car seems to be selling for between £36k to £37k at Audi currently. Was hoping I’d have enough left to get a new car but if I’ve only got circa £3k towards a new car, doubt I’d get another s3 ;(
I would have thought you’ll have decent equity in the car after 3yr, £54k is Vorsprung money, I got mine for £45k so around the same as you. Monthlies are subjective, if you can afford it then do it, people will always comment on who pays what but I know a few people that are paying circa
£700/£800 a month on cars, some more on EVs, mad, but it’s their choice.
