Hi all . I have had my car about three weeks now a 2017 a6 avant took it on its first long trip at the weekend from Manchester to Portsmouth 247 miles and it never missed a beat . It was a different story on the way back about 120 mile into the journey i accelerated to overtake a middle lane hogger and nothing foot hard to the floor but no acceleration whatsoever no lights on the dash . I covered the last 120 odd miles using the gears to get me home its a manual car . Anyway finally got home switched the car off . About an hour later i took it out and the problem had completely gone all was back to normal . Got it checked for fault codes again nothing logged . Does anyone have any idea what the issue could have been any advice would be very much appreciated
