A5 B8 Air con. or conned...

I had an issue with my aircon not getting cold, so I thought it needed regassing, that never worked so i changed the sensor. not when you press the ac button the led flicks straight off, so does that mean it needs regassed again, or is there an issue with the button? the old button kept on before though :/

Best getting a leak test done first, you may have a damaged condenser or another problem somewhere else.
