Hi all . I have recently purchased a 2017 audi a6 c7 avant s line and i want to replace the rear shock absorbers when looking to buy some i am seeing some with wires coming from the top and some with no wires . Obviously the car as driver modes and was wondering if the wired ones are to stiffen the suspension in dynamic mode . Any advice would be appreciated

Until someone with more knowledge comes along I can give you what I know, I believe you are correct the dampers can stiffen when required.
