I've got a fault with my TPMS showing on the dash, I've scanned it with obdeleven its showing a fault C1146F0.

I thought it would just be a sensor in the wheel gone faulty, I spoke to a local garage and they are telling me my car 2017 facelift s3 doesn't uses the valve sensors it uses the ABS to calculate it. Is this correct?

If it does have valve sensors how do I figure out which one is faulty ?

Thanks

You don’t have active sensors, not unless they have been retrofit.

Launch obd11 out the window and get a proper scan to check what the issue could be, normally an ABS speed sensor or ambient temp sensor.

Thanks for the response I've spoken to my usual mechanic and he confirmed the above over the phone so I'll pop it to him to plug it in for me and see what's going on
