Q3 Climate Control

Now the last time i was on ( long time ago years) . I knew lads who had fitted the Q3 CC into there S3 8P and there is a great tutorial on the site about how to do it which i did do.
So my question is in the years i have been away from ASN as any1 ever worked out how to remove the fault code that always shows when scanning car , not that it causes a problem with the CC unit am now just very Curious as time has moved on .TIA

I just lived with it, doesn't restrict functionality so not worth the hassle of chasing down something with no real benefit.

From memory its to do with a comms issue which would be right given the old(er) architecture of the 8P.
