Repair to kerbed alloy wheel?

I lightly kerbed an alloy wheel yesterday. First time in over 30 years, so extremely annoying. Not really my fault - I was forced into the gutter by an SUV coming round a blind bend straddling the white line - but that’s by the by.

I could touch up the damage with a paint stick, but apart from this damage all my wheels are perfect, and I know my repair would not be invisible. It would irk me forevermore. I would be happy to pay for a professional repair, but I can’t seem to find a specialist nearby.

So after all this preamble, my question is can anyone out there recommend someone local who could do a good job for me?

Failing that, does anyone have any experience of the national franchises such as Chips Away for this kind of work?

I live at the centre of a triangle between Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester.

Spit & Polish Tonbridge are very good.

You could probably do yourself tbh if you're into DIY but failing that they're exceptional.
 
Thanks NHN. They sound ideal, but unfortunately a visit would involve a 5 hour return drive, so hardly convenient.

My fallback option is diy, and I am certainly into car diy. But I would prefer to pay for a perfect invisible repair, which I could not achieve.
 
Post it to them or they do offer collection iirc.
 
Thank you Colin, I'll bear that in mind if I have to revert to a diy repair.

I have a touch-up stick which purports to be the correct factory colour for my 5 spoke wheels, but tests with that are not encouraging. My experience with minor repairs on the wheels of my wife's car is that even if the paint is a half decent match, the surface irregularities in the damaged areas mean that the surface ends up lumpy, and the repair visible. Getting the surface level involves filler, and ends up extending the repair area dramatically. Which is why on my own pride and joy I would rather pay for a professional and get a perfect job.
