- Bold and dynamic design with a spacious, practical interior
- Enhanced efficiency and driving comfort with new suspension and plug-in hybrid powertrains
- Advanced digital features and lighting systems inspired by the full-size class
Audi is ushering in a new era for the Q3 with the debut of its third generation - bringing fresh design, innovative technology, and exceptional performance to the premium compact SUV segment. With over two million units sold globally since its initial launch, the Q3 remains one of Audi’s most successful models. The latest version elevates the experience further, offering enhanced digital functionality, cutting-edge lighting, and a powerful range of efficient drivetrains.
"The Audi Q3 has been a cornerstone of our success," says Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG. "This new generation reinforces our product portfolio with advanced plug-in hybrid capability, more efficient combustion engines, and a host of technological upgrades that improve every aspect of the driving experience."
Refined Design, Elevated Presence
The new Q3 sports a bold, emotional exterior that radiates confidence. A wider Singleframe grille and sharply contoured headlights integrate seamlessly into the aerodynamic front profile. A distinctive shoulder line running from headlamps to taillights divides the SUV’s body, creating a play of light and shadow that enhances its sculpted form.
At the rear, optional digital OLED tail lights, an LED light strip, and illuminated Audi rings contribute to a striking and modern appearance. These lighting innovations, available for the first time in Audi’s compact lineup, offer both aesthetic and functional enhancements.
The front features Audi’s advanced digital Matrix LED headlights using micro-LED technology - a first for the Q3. This new system provides superior road illumination, enhances contrast, and integrates seamlessly with driver assistance features. The daytime running lights include 23 individually controllable segments per side, creating unique and easily recognisable light signatures.
Digital Innovation Meets Everyday Usability
Inside, the Q3 boasts an upgraded interior layout that blends advanced technology with everyday practicality. A new steering column control system enhances ergonomics and creates more space in the centre console. Two new multifunction levers - one for gear selection and the other for light and wiper functions - streamline the driving interface.
Acoustic glazing, available for the first time in this segment, significantly reduces wind and road noise, making long journeys even more relaxing. The spacious cabin is complemented by a 488-liter boot (expandable to 1,386 litres with the rear seats folded). The adjustable rear bench slides forward/backward and allows angle adjustments for added flexibility. The Q3 also boasts a towing capacity of up to 2,100 kilograms (approx. 4,630 lbs) - an impressive feat for a compact SUV.
Efficient, Electrified Performance
The new Q3 lineup offers a wide range of powertrain options:
- Q3 TFSI 110 kW – A refined four-cylinder gasoline engine featuring mild-hybrid technology for improved efficiency.
- Q3 TDI 110 kW – A diesel variant optimized for long-distance travel.
- Q3 e-hybrid 200 kW – A plug-in hybrid model with a 25.7 kWh battery (19.7 kWh net) offering up to 119 km of electric range (preliminary WLTP figures). With DC fast charging at up to 50 kW, recharging is quick and convenient.
Dynamic Handling and Advanced Safety
Audi has further refined the standard suspension for a smoother, more controlled ride. Optional upgrades include sport suspension and a two-valve adaptive damping system, allowing drivers to strike the perfect balance between comfort and agility.
Advanced driver assistance technologies make the Q3 safer and more intuitive than ever. The adaptive driving assistant plus helps maintain speed, distance, and lane positioning. An interior monitoring camera checks for signs of driver fatigue or distraction. Other smart features include trained parking, where users can program custom parking manoeuvres, and reverse assist, which helps guide the vehicle out of tight or dead-end spaces.
A Compact SUV That Feels Full-Size
“With the Q3’s redesigned interior, we’ve brought the sophistication and digital innovation of our full-size models into the compact segment,” says Geoffrey Bouquot, Audi Board Member for Technical Development. “This SUV is a truly intelligent everyday companion - efficient, intuitive, and incredibly versatile.”
The third-generation Audi Q3 seamlessly blends athletic design, intelligent technology, and electrified performance, setting a new benchmark in the compact SUV category.
