Mild Hybrid System

I'm trying to figure out how this works?

So I'm assuming its just a 12v "very" mild system. Best I can work out it works two ways. Sometimes it appears to cut the engine out, judging by the lack of rev's, and sometimes it appears that the gearbox maybe goes into neutral, again judging by the revs sit around 800 rpm.

I assume there is no Electric Motor and the "Hybrid" system just runs the electrical systems?

Is this about right?

I have same as you and yes you are right.
If the battery isn't quite charged or other systems don't meet requirements it coasts. If it does the engine will go in to standby
