Just bought a second hand S4 Avant TDI in April. We already have a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S but needed more storage space for those trips to the garden centre ;-)
Had 3 previous A6, a silver 2.4 v6 petrol in 1997, then a 2.7T bi turbo in blue before buying new an A6 Avant Quattro Sport 2.5Tdi in 2004. Sold it in 2020 with over 200,000 on the clock, never broke down and was 100% reliable with many journeys into Europe.
Still learning about the S4 Tdi the tech on board is pretty stunning compared to the analog cars.
