Hi can anyone please help me solve this riddle of a situation, I can’t get my Kenwood dmx5020 to power with ignition live running piggyback from fuse 41 rear wiper, the voltage is there I have to physically reset the unit every time, but if I connect the ignition to the permanent it works fine but obviously i have to remember to turn it off I have a 2008 Audi a3 it had the basic chorus (front speakers only) prior owner put a rnse in there that works as a radio as it doesn’t have the antenna or anything I can’t see the wires have been messed with or anything and prior owner also changed some things and didn’t change modules lights (there going back to halogen for now, and steering wheel (I’m in process of sorting steering wheel module and slip ring but that’s another story, I just can’t figure out why this won’t power with ignition live?
