This tyre/pressure/size label inside 8Y door jamb:

IMG 4360

Pretty straight forward for the default staggered setup on the 8Y - default wheels on those default tyre sizes.

However, are Audi also suggesting we can (yeah, doesn't mean we should) fit the 235/35/19 all round (the M&S tyres) on the default wheels?? So, that would be 235/35/19 M&S tyres on the 9J front wheels. Surely that'll be mega stretched....?? Default rears are 8J so the 235 will sit nicely on them, as they did on 8V and 8P.
If not, anyone know what Audi stipulates for front wheel width on above label - 235/35/19's M&S all round?

Anyone?

read the label again it's 245/35/19 and 265/30/19 for the 9j's and therefor no stretch.

Nope.....3rd set of figures down are square setup of 235/35/19 all round:

As above it is for a winter setup, where people (like me) have a complete set of winter wheels in a different size to the summer setup.

There is no mention of wheel width on the label as it is for tyre pressures not wheel fitment, however, in the relevant ETKA doc (usually called 'wheel/tyre guide) it will have a list of approved wheel and tyre combinations. Any dealer should be able to bring that up. I have it for 8V and TT but not 8Y

Audi have never acknowledged use of the 235/35/19 on anything other than the 8", even on the 8V even though many have run it on an 8.5" with no issue.

Personally I would not run a 235/35 on a 9" wheel irrespective of what may be approved.

https://audi-shop.com/de/de/p/rad-5-y-speichen/AU-8Y0073649 LD8/ These are the OEM 235/35 R19 winter wheels. The alloy size is 8,0Jx19.

And as the sticker suggests, there are also OEM alloys available for a staggered winter setup.
That link gave me what i needed (ET25 as well on the 8J front wheels) - thanks.
Then also found this online:

I have some old 8P 8Jx19 wheels which (with suitable spacers) I will now use for a square 235 winter setup.

Thanks all.
