My rear electronic shock was needing replaced, didn't have money so left it for about 6 weeks. The car felt very twitchy with the back end, put it down to the shock needing replaced. After replacing it, now seems like my Quattro has stopped fuctioning? Audi A4 3.0 TDI B8

Torsen based on the 8K, it isn't haldex.

What way do you think its not working?

I've had the car for five years and always stuck to the road like glue especially as I use Eagle F1 Asymmectric tyres but lately it's nearly spun out a few times and i've had to correct it. The grip doesn't seem the same in the slightest.

If one shock is wore then the other three probably aren't far away and thats not taking into account worn bushes etc on the various suspension parts.

I assume wheel alignment, pressures etc are all within spec? How old are the tyres, what are the DOT code?

Thanks Darren. Yea they are all within spec. Tyres are about 10 months old. Sorry what is a DOT code?

I would be looking at other suspension components being worn, the weak shock you replaced is now putting stress on the other weak parts of the system.
