Hiya all,
I have an audi a3 2011 1.8 tfsi cabriolet. Currently my steering is abit heavy and suddenly very light, you need to move half the steering wheel for the wheels to turn. I also have an esp fault on my dash.
My mechanic said in passing that it may be the steering angle sensor.
A quick google said you may be able to manually rest it, turning the steering wheel both ways and waiting etc.
Just wondered if anyone knows if this works? Or if anyway I could fix the fault?
There is no whining from the steering wheel or anything like that, you would only know if there was a problem by driving it.
