Redefining the business saloon. Audi Expands A6 Lineup.

Audi is adding a refined new model to its A6 series: a classic business sedan that sets new benchmarks in design, aerodynamics, and comfort within the premium full-size category. With a drag coefficient of just 0.23—the best ever for a combustion-engine production vehicle in Audi’s history—the A6 Sedan combines efficiency with cutting-edge performance. Advanced mild hybrid technology (MHEV plus) in both gasoline and diesel engines contributes to reduced fuel consumption and enhanced driving dynamics.

Thanks to its sophisticated suspension systems, including adaptive air suspension and optional all-wheel steering, the new A6 Sedan delivers exceptional everyday practicality and comfort over long distances. These systems work together to provide a smooth, agile, and responsive driving experience.

The vehicle’s exterior is both elegant and purposeful, staying true to Audi’s distinctive design language. Its sleek, minimalist silhouette is accentuated by the gently curved window line and a streamlined profile. Up front, the bold Singleframe grille, sculpted headlights, and aerodynamic air intakes not only create a strong visual impression but also optimize airflow. Air curtains at the sides and a front spoiler integrated into the bumper enhance both performance and presence.

The rear of the A6 is equally striking. Its slightly upward-sloping tail and continuous LED light strip across the precise, modern taillights add a sense of sophistication and width. The carefully contoured notchback design improves airflow and reduces drag. Paired with a wide rear diffuser, these features help balance lift and drag, boosting stability and driving precision.

The adaptive air suspension system further enhances the sedan’s blend of sportiness and comfort. It lowers the car’s ride height by 20 mm in normal driving mode and by an additional 10 mm in dynamic mode. This not only sharpens the vehicle’s stance but also reduces drag at high speeds for better efficiency.

Optional all-wheel steering improves low-speed agility and high-speed stability. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels, making city driving and parking easier. At higher speeds, they turn in the same direction for smoother lane changes and more controlled cornering. Combined with progressive steering, the system delivers direct feedback and heightened road feel.

Under the hood, Audi offers mild-hybrid MHEV plus technology in two powerful configurations: a 2.0 TDI four-cylinder engine with 150 kW (204 PS), and a 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine delivering 270 kW (367 PS). This technology supports electric parking and low-speed driving, improves start-off performance, and allows coasting in traffic. It also provides additional torque—up to 230 Nm—and boosts output by up to 18 kW (24 PS) during acceleration. Regenerative braking can recover up to 25 kW.

Inside, the A6 Sedan is quieter than ever. Enhanced insulation—up to 30% better than its predecessor—combined with improved window seals and specially designed engine mounts, significantly reduces road and wind noise. Tires 19 inches and larger now feature built-in noise absorbers, contributing to a more serene cabin environment.

The new A6 Sedan will be manufactured at Audi’s plant in Neckarsulm and offered globally. Orders begin in mid-April 2025, with deliveries starting in summer 2025. Pricing for the entry-level model with the 150 kW TFSI engine starts at €55,500.
