Good Afternoon,

Had a very strange problem come up with my car. Can drive it around normal and everything is fine, Bring the car onto boost and it flags up a "NO OIL PRESSURE" message in the centre display. Turn the car off, try to start it again and it sounds like the battery is flat and only does 2-3 really slow cranks.

Today i put a new battery on and its doing the exact same thing. However, if you disconnect the battery and reconnect it again the car starts again.

Has anyone come across a similar problem to this? Is my CDL block toast or is it something strange with the wiring?

Any help is massively appreciated

Many Thanks

Cal

Check ground points for corrosion, main negative battery lead unbolt both ends, Dremel clean back to metal reconnect, test.

I had something similar a while back. I was messing about with VCDS and forgot to close a controller before shutting down. The car would not start , it would barely turn over a couple of times and died . All the symptoms of a very flat battery :) went inside, had a coffee, came out 30 mins later and it started first go, starter motor was flying. My guess is the ECU reset itself after a set time.
