Audi RS5 B8 exhaust mod

Hi all,
I've owned a B8 RS5 for a few years now. Absolutely love the car! But toying with fitting an after market exhaust and thinking Milltek. My question is though, what is the car like to live with after that in terms of sound/noise levels and does the car still do the auto blipping when it's coming down the gears in Dynamic?

I haven't got the Milltek, I've got JHM downpipes and replaced the centre resonator with straight-pipes (OEM back-boxes remain), and it's great.
Still makes similar noises to OEM, but louder - with valves closed it's similar to stock with the valves open, but with values open it's much louder.

My setup sounds very different to the Capristo non-res (my brother has one), and I think this is due to 2 reasons:

• Mine contains an X-pipe (in the JHM downpipes)
• My setup isn't 'tuned' end-to-end as a system

I suspect the Milltek is more like the Capristo than my setup (not sure I've actually heard a Milltek in person), as it's straight-pipes all the way through (no X-pipe). The X-pipe raises the pitch, so you get more of a Ferrari F355 top-end scream, whereas straight pipes keep the exhaust pulses of the 2 cylinder banks separate and gives a more 'gutteral V8' sound you'd more associated with an American V8 (still sounds good at 8k+ rpm, just different).

I want to try mating up the Capristo non-res to my JHM downpipes, but I don't fancy paying ~£4k for the experience.

I don't think anyone would regret changing the exhaust with this engine if the system has valves, as you can always make it quieter if needed (but this is a rare occurance for me)!
