There are lots of posts on the forum about retrofitting front (and rear sensors). There was a particularly helpful thread by Potterswheel, which helped me a lot when I fitted front sensors. Dave (Potterswheel) also gave me a lot of additional tips by PM. There are a lot of bits and pieces involved, and I would recommend getting a kit since it makes life a lot easier. There are UK and European suppliers who can supply kits with genuine oem parts, and you can easily find them if you search the web. I got my kit from a cheaper(half the price) AliExpress supplier called Aidu, who were very helpful, and the parts were good quality and appeared to be oem. Minor problems with the Chinese kit was that the new switch panel was set up for RHD, so the order of the buttons is different to UK spec. If this matters to you it can be fixed by combining parts from the old and new panels, but it's quite involved and fiddly to do. The wiring loom was also too short, and I needed to splice in an extra for or so of cable. Don't underestimate the work involved in the retrofit. You will need to remove the front bumper to punch the mounting holes and fit the sensors and the wiring. Also a fair amount of work behind the dash. You will need VCDS to carry out the recoding necessary.
