3.0 TDI Clutch confusion

Currently got the gearbox off the car as my DMF gave up. There appear to be two clutch kits available.

My car is CAPA with KMU gearbox

P/N 623350600 "This kit is for vehicles with Chassis Numbers up to 8A021000" - which is correct for me
P/N 623340100 "This kit is for vehicles with Chassis Numbers from 8A021001" - My VIN doesn't match

Trouble is that AUTODOC do a bundle with the P/N that doesn't match my VIN for £550 (flywheel is the same between two vins - only clutch P/N changes)

Darkside specify the two different vins but then state they both fit CAPA. Does anybody know if the latter clutch will fit? Dimensions appear to be the same, I cant tell why they seperate them?

you'll need to check the vin against the needed clutch... it's GEARBOX related NOT engine (although they use the engine to narrow it down) if you are struggling just contact them with stating your vin and ask which one you'll need... then oncce they point it out and quoted you the price, you can always look around and see if you can find it cheaper so you can ask them to match it or get it from the place you found it cheaper.

Darkside website says this wont fit but autodoc says it will (KMU gearbox) I will have to contact them I guess.

They must be the same as the diameter matches and they both mate to the same flywheel
