You can try a little Autosol on a damp microfibre cloth, but this does sound like oxidisation under clear coat. Forum is littered with this sort of thing and only option is to replace or wrap.

I have a 2015 A8L Quattro. The aluminum around the windows is starting to get spots and discoloration. Do you have any ideas on what I can use to clean it?
I assume it's aluminum. It started three years ago. The car still looks great. Very expensive to replace all of the moulding.

I’ve had similar issues with my A4 B8. Using a mild aluminum polish like Autosol with a soft cloth helped, but the cloudiness often returns. Considering wrapping the trims might be a more lasting solution.
