Hi,
I’ve just removed my factory concert radio from my pre facelift Audi a3 8L. I have a bose sub in the boot with 2 speakers. The stereo im installing is a JVC & has 2 sets of pre outs. I’m just after some info on what radio adapter loom I should get? And any info on wiring would be great please. I’ve read conflicting posts online.. Will post pics of my audi loom, has 3 different plugs but the red one only has one wire running to it. Thanks!

Since you have the BOSE system, you need an adapter for it. Look up "bose to ISO adapter" and you should find one. I can't give you an exact one, as I bought it here in Poland through a local seller, and it's just a generic chinese (working) crap without any branding or product number on it. They can also be a bit finicky, I think I went through 3 different ones before I found one that was working and wasn't causing any audio issues (hissing, crackling etc.)
Maybe someone else will be able to provide you with a link to a tested one.

Once you've got that, you just plug in the adapter into the wiring loom, then into the radio wiring, and you should be all set.

Hi,
For your pre-facelift Audi A3 8L with the Bose system, you’ll need a Quadlock to ISO adapter with Bose support. Since your JVC stereo has pre-outs, look for a wiring harness adapter with RCA connectors for the rear amp (often labeled as “active system adapter” or “Bose adapter”). The red plug with a single wire is likely for the diagnostics/K-line, which isn’t needed for aftermarket head units and can be left disconnected. Make sure your adapter includes remote turn-on (AMP REM) to power the Bose amp — usually wired to the blue/white wire from the JVC. Post pics of the loom if you want help confirming the exact plugs.
