Hey all,
Please can someone help with a fault code?
I am getting coe P214600 - fuel injector group A supply voltage circuit / open.
Car went in to limp mode then wouldn't restart yesterday. Now it will start but isn't running OK all cylinders (not driven only ran for a few seconds).
Have been experiencing it running a little lumpy on start but then clears as soon as it's over 1100 pm- put it down to poor fuel at the time...
Have checked all connections i can see and they seem to be OK.
At the time, there was a small pool of fuel at the top of the injector and can clearly see its been leaking down the side of the engine - picture below, but isn't the clearest.
Do I just change the 1 injector that's leaking, all 3 on that bank, all 6 or just the seal of that one? All the others are perfectly dry...
Any help is greatfully recieved, thanks!!!

This is what comes up on Ross Tech regards that code. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/P2146/008518
Check wiring would be first thing, for obvious chaffing/breaks.

You can replace just one injector, no idea if it needs coded if new, but I’d be inclined to extract existing one, clean it, smear of ceramic grease, fit a new copper washer and ‘o’ ring. Ensure injector bore is spotless. You also need a new injector clamp bolt and torque as it’s a stretch bolt. Importantly, the fuel pipes need to be released until the injector is seated, then tighten up. You could also run a can of Forte diesel conditioner through it, then replace filter.

Example here from Dave Sterl, 2 litre diesel but same process.
