Hi guys, recently bought myself an audi s4 2020 diesel and have been loving it. I have noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine but i do know that audis in general have loud ticking fuel pumps just didnt realise that the diesel models have that too? Sometimes i can hear a very faint knocking almost like rod knock noises but this isnt always noticeable especially because of the ticking noise overpowers it. Can anyone tell me if their s4/sq5/s5 of this same year and engine makes the same sort of noises on idle? Bit worried as I purchased from independent dealer and only have about 2 weeks of 'consumer protection' left on the car so want to be sure. Could it possibly be timing chain noise is that even an issue on these engines? I have attached a video. Any help will be appreciated thanks!!
