Replacing mirror switch knob

Hi everyone,

Does anybody know whether its possible (for the a1 8x) to remove the mirror select switch on the drivers door (the switch that lets you power fold the mirrors) without having to drill out the entire arm rest from the back?

I know on the a3 8v, there is same space to do it but not sure about that in case of the a1.

Hopefully someone with experience in this can share information!

Are you retrofitting folding mirrors? I am get you the part number of the trim piece if so.

I know the door card pops off in 2 minutes but thats not what i was asking. I was asking about the mirror select switch in the door card, not the door card itself. To get the door card off is easy but the question is whether there more ways to rekove that specific button.

(Yeah i got the power fold retrofitted)
