I’m getting so stressed with my car if anyone can offer any advice be much appreciated. I have had 2 regens done at a garage over the last 2 years and usually it comes up in the car saying dpf fault. This time my engine light came on only so didn’t expect it to be the dpf but when plugged in the garage said it was dpf. I decided to get a dpf cleaner company over at the wkend to clean it as they say this is more intense than the regen. The guy left all good I took it out for a drive after I filled it with fuel and my engine light came back on. I have called him and he is going to plug it in again for me but I’m fuming I paid 250 pound for literally 10 mins of a healthy car engine for then the engine light to pop back on. I don’t mind spending money on my car but this is getting tedious and I just want to know the route of the problem and all people seem to do (garages) is do a regen but the problem returns I’m so fed up !!! I love my car but this is making me feel like I want to just fix it and sell it so many issues. I have also taken it out today on a long drive but doesn’t seem like I can get the car to regen - is a regen not possible when the engine light is on - it is currently not in limp mode - anyone with any advice much appreciated
