Hi - My car was new from March 2024 but the OE wipers have started making quite bad groaning and juddering noises. I've given them a gentle clean to no avail. Is this a known Audi wiper problem?

I swapped mine to Bosch, much better than the originals. The rear one shuddered from brand new.
Sometimes it’s not just the wipers, the windscreen picks up contaminants, and a lot of cheap car shampoo with added detergents (for example) exacerbate the problem. Make sure the glass is properly clean, then use a damp microfibre with glass polish and towel dry. Bosch wipers are very good compared to Valeo. You can use a little methylated spirit along the edge to remove residue after every wash.
