Belt tensioner service lock 3.0tdi

Hi All, i keep reading about this and yet i find no info on how to lock the serpentine tensioner pulley into the service position. My alternator has failed so i need to loosen the belt to take it off. Thanks in advance

Thanks for that... i did it in the end 'old school' got my neighbour to move the extension bar and i took the belt off.
