It wasn’t an easy decision , but I’ve swapped my beloved daily S3 for an F70 135. Before you guys start dropping bombs on me—I know... but 3,000 miles in, and what a car!
I test-drove the Golf R and the new S before I swapped my car, wasn’t a fan of the A35, and I must say, the BMW is a much better place to be in than any of the aforementioned. It’s not as sharp and nippy as I’d love it to be, but the handling, ride quality, tech, and cabin make me feel like I’ve bought something decent. Not just the hatchback.
The handling is much better than the S3 in corners, not so sure abou out, apart from the annoying torque steer, which keeps me on my toes when accelerating hard. However, I might be back in an RS3—if they’re still making them and, of course, if my wallet allows it!
See you soon!
