I am looking at upgrading the front components as one of the speakers is now blown so using the opportunity to upgrade.

I have read many articles here with good advice. The main keys advices are:
a. the overall depth of the main speaker and adaptor spacers to be not more than 60mm
b. make sure the adpators are MDF.

The issue is most mentioning their setup talk of speakers no longer available.
I am after a good quality set and saw the Pioneer TS-A131Ci. They should fit being 52mm deep plus the mdf spacers (from ebay) being 6mm.

I am planning on running them to the new headunit. So effectively only having the original standard rear ones working off the standard bose amp in the boot. I already have a seperate amp powering my seperate bass box in the boot.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend any other good quality front components that would fit?

Would also be keen to know this. I've seen lots about audison components recently but never heard how good they are actually are in real life.
