No Electric to Drivers Door - Help!

Car is a 2020 RS3 8V.

I had a rattle in the passenger door, removed the door card had a good check and all seemed fine.

I figured I check the drivers door while I was on with it, door card off, all OK and replaced as removed.

Then later I realised I had no power to the drivers door window and mirror control.
Nothing works from the door controller, windows nor mirror adjustment.
The only window that works on its own switch is the near side rear door window, the other three do not work.

I`ve had the door cards back off, checked everything is connected OK, all connectors look OK.
Checked fuses too and all seem OK.

I have OBDEleven, the scan showed - Driver door - Trouble codes: B178301 - function lighting central locking electrical error.
The car does lock.
I can`t find anything on the net relating to trouble code B178301.

Am I missing something? Does it need some kind of reset?

Any help appreciated.
 
Seems a bit soon for a 2020 but on the old 8Ps the first place to look would be the trunking between the drivers door and the A-pillar, might be worth a look?

Thanks, I`ve had a look there and all seems as it should.
 
I`ve re-checked everything once more.
All connections are OK.
All the fuses are OK.
No apparent split wires.
The door speaker works fine, just no power to the door.

I`m thinking the buttons maybe at fault.

Anyone got any ideas?

That was the problem on my old 8P.

Me too mate, it’s such a common problem that you can buy the half looms on eBay and solder them in…..

Hi, I know this was a while ago but did you manage to fix this error code?
Everything seems to be working in my car but I keep getting the exact error code in the drivers side door module. It’s a VW Golf 2019
TIA
