Audi Connect Renewal Charges

Hi Guys. I have been talking to Audi UK. via email and latterly via Phone!
Basically last year as my car entered its 4th year, I had to pay to renew the Audi Connect License for my car.
Even though I can connect my phone Via Android Auto. I paid the £120.00 because I liked the built in info and Map.. Roll on to now and I am being asked to pay £175.00.
Because that is the new rate for 2ltrs and above. Apparently 1984cc is 2ltrs.
Sad to say I will be walking away from Audi Connect because I feel that a 45% increase is just greed.
I am really disappointed as I love my Audi but Hey £175.00 for a years Sat Nav Really!

As you mentioned, if you're not getting any real value from paying that extra £175.00, it would make sense to drop the service, especially if you have an alternative like Android Auto that already covers the basics.

Hi joash.
Yeah We now use either Apple Play via my wife's phone or Android Auto via My Samsung.
I wonder how many more are struggling to see the justification of the huge increase.
I doubt Audi are bothered, sad really.

Where are you seeing £175? It's £141 for a year on my RS4 in the myAudi app, so the price being linked to engine CC sounds like BS.

Connect seems to be a waste of money anyway given its limited functionality (at least on the B9.5 platform in my case). Best to stick with CarPlay/Android Auto

dont forget the extra for Audi connect remote control £35.50 / £53
