New owner looking for advice...

Hi All,

I'm new to Audi world. I've just purchased a 2015 Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TFSI Quattro and I'm absolutly loving it. Coming from a S204 Mercedes C63 Estate, its a very comfy cruiser with some decent power on tap when required.

While I love everything about the car, I have seen a few people on YouTube post some options for screen upgrades with Android Auto / Apple Car Play, its complete retrofit which gives a newer better quality flip screen. I've seen an installer who has some great reviews over in Birmingham, however living in London I'd like to find someone closer if possible. Does anyone have any experience with these types of screens and installs?

Thank you both for the response. I've been in touch with Alix via Instagram. I'll get booked in with him for an update and some coding in the new year. I have a random issue where display adjustment light does dim the cockpit display which is highly annoying in the dark as its too bright. Hopefully he can assit with that too. I'm guessing its because the car is a Japanese import.

If you want to upgrade the screen, I highly recommend looking at RSNav.com.

i have their widescreen (no longer flip) fitted to my 2016 S7 and been happy with it. I’d steer clear of no name, unsupported Chinese units.

RSNav have a facebook group full of useful info.

Thank you all for the recommendations on using @DJAlix services at VAG Coding for getting the car systems upgraded and having Android Auto / Apple Car Play enabled. I went to see him on Saturday and he's done a great job with coding the car and various updates. I shall definitely being using his services again when required.
