2013 BiTDi with power boot. The other day my wife tried to manually close the boot, panicked, stopped it, then opened it again. Now, when the boot closes it bounces slightly back up again. The dash shows the boot as being open, it doesn’t lock, and it rattles.
When closing the boot, the power latch that pulls it tight doesn’t fire. However, when you open the boot it does. It’s as if the boot lid and latch are out of sync.
Prestige Audi kindly let me use a known good latch to test and it behaves the same way.
Has anyone any ideas on how to reset the boot?
