Rs3 blue smoke cold start

I noticed today after starting my car up this morning I had some blue smoke for about 10 seconds then it stopped and then I turned it off for about half an hour started it again and had it again for about 2 seconds.

Any ideas what this could be ?

I’m starting to dislike my rs3 with how much it’s costing just not enjoyable at all at the moment just constant worry. Shame when it’s always been a dream car of mine.

Oil levels ok as that's a sign of oil burning usually, but it might not be serious.

Yeah seems fine. Hope it ain’t nothing serious like stem seals or piston rings ‍

It could also be the turbo oil supply starting to leak into the exhaust. Be interesting to see if there is any play in the shaft but that is not a 2 min job.

It is unfortunate that it seems this might be a bit of a lemon. If you could get out of it you could look for a better one (like in the other thread here, both the one bought and previously sold)

Prices are on the move down so you will take a hit but the silver lining is it won't cost as much to get into another good one.

Update on this oil consumption is going down quite abit. It was where the green line was after 200 miles and now you can see on photo how much it’s gone down. I’ve ordered new pcv but I’m not convinced it’s that
