Meet our newest family member, "Axle" , our new furry friend , a 10 week old GWP .
Picking him up in a 2 weeks time, he's going to get spoilt beyond belief.

Gwp2

Sadly we lost our well-loved GSD Max in July, he had a good life and was 11, not that old but not bad for a GSD.
He succumbed to the dreaded hip dysplasia in the end, gone but not forgotten.
His loss to us left a big hole in our lives to be honest so we had to find a suitable replacement, Axle will never be Max but will go a long way to be a brilliant alternative.
:thumbs up:

Rob

Thanks,
Max will be missed, but Axle helps fill the void.
We’re the same. Lost Brodie June 2020, got Harris a year later.
Harris is the successor rather than replacement and completely different personality although both Scotties

Yeah the problem with Scotties is that they’re very stoic and sometimes difficult to tell if they’re unwell but fantastic characters

We've had a change of mind on his name, well the wife has lol.
He is now " Huntley" which I do think suits him very well:yes:, and it wont be changing again. :whistle2:
Been checking out insurance policies, and they have sky rocketed these days for pets....:scared2:

Insurance has rocketed, plus ours went through the roof when Harris went through an operation both front legs at 6 months old. They then have you over a barrel as going to another insurer means exiting conditions aren’t covered.

Do you have any specific plans for spoiling him already? I bet you’re already excited for the day you get to pick him up!

So sorry to hear about Max — losing a dog is like losing family. But huge congrats on welcoming Axle! He looks like a real character already. Wishing you both many happy adventures ahead
