Wanted RS3 8v FL Sportback

Looking to get back into an 8v again in the new year and going for an RS3 Sportback. Looking a FL model and either a 2017 or 2018 model, pre OPF car.

Must be a good spec, no more than average mileage and full Audi service history. Would love a unique colour, but otherwise Ara Blue would be what I am after.

I’m not selling but as someone who has been looking for the past 4 months and finally bought one this week I may be able to give you some tips. I was set on buying one from an Audi Dealership due to the warranty and extra protection in theory it provides. I setup a saved search on Autotrader, refreshing a couple of times a day to see what was most recent, weirdly some dealers were listing cars on there before their own websites which seems a bit odd. The used Approved Audi website isn’t as good as it used to be, good spec’d well priced cars tend to sell long before they go anywhere near it. The ones currently on there have been up for sale for months. The other thing I did was do a separate tab for each of the dealerships across the UK (if willing to travel) Sytner, Group 1, JCT600 etc as some list on there with a preview before the actual car photos, allowing you to check the reg and reserve before photos go up if you’re interested. From what I’ve seen the cars that sit for weeks / months on auto trader fall into one of several categories; are unreasonably priced, poor spec or have concerns with servicing / history etc, RS3’s still seem highly desirable so the good ones don’t stick around. A lot of searching and time spent looking but hopefully it’s pays off!
