Hi, just a quick question. I’ve got the The B&O Sound system on my gen 1 R8. Sounds great through the OEM FM radio. It also sounds great through the Aux. But similar to most Audis in that era the volume is very quiet when played through the Aux cable. I know the system can go louder as it does when listening to FM…

Is there anyway on VCDS or on the radio unit to increase the volume when playing through Aux?

Many thanks
Harve

Nah it's just down to the line input device if it amps it up or not, does the same on the other cars that utilise say the rns-e system.

Some handsets do boost the volume, some don't.

That’s a shame… looking like im going to have to go aftermarket. If anyone got a decent OEM style radio that is compatible with reversing camera and increase the volume etc that they recommend, I would like the see it! I know there’s a few online for the R8!
