I have not tried WBAC for a while as they keep pestering once you give them your details and all the talk on here about second hand values had me wondering........................

So, I entered my details, March 22 SB Vorsprung, red, 20k miles, it came back at £46250 which surprised me a little, Ive no interntion of changing yet so left it, yesterday I got the ''here is your increased valuation'' I was expecting £46300 or similar, got quite a shock when it was £47,000
To the Maths then, £22245 to change for the same car, or being as I was cheeky when I bought the car its lost £5250 over nearly 3 years.
In my book thats pretty good and I would imagine the WBAC price could be betered as well :)

Have you ever sold a car to WBAC? From my experience I would treat some of those prices with a shovel of salt. When it suits them they will get cars through the door then knock 1000s off for each stone chip, as some are desperate will still bite. I have tried to use WBAC price elsewhere several times when they were high and got nowhere.

A mate tried it recently with a Porker and as they could not find a fault they claimed the system made a mistake.

They certainly disrupt the market at times. If they have a glut of cars they can't sell, WBAC bump the prices as they know buyers will WBAC a car they are buying

No, not WBAC but did sell a Golf to Evans Halshaw a few years back, no hassle, he just checked all the normal stuff, couldnt find anything wrong and bought it at the agreed/offered price

I also used a quote from another internet buyer at VW and they said well if theyre prepared to pay that we will match it, they came up about £750 IIRC
