Hi,

2016 Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI Ultra / Gearbox QJY (6-Speed manual)

Sorry another service interval question.

I have done some searching, unsuccessfully, to find a good reliable resource for the service intervals of the above vehicle.
I have looked through the operator manual too, but only found the standard stuff, not a comprehensive list, unless I am going mad.

I do not need the common items like engine oil, air filter, pollen filter, I will do those annually.
I need info on fuel filter, gearbox oil, cam belt, water pump, brake fluid, and any other obscure tasks I am unaware of.

Where can I find this info from?

Thanks in advance
Luke

Fuel filter every 20k miles, brake fluid every 2 years. To be honest I do air filter and pollen filter annually. You are saving pennies. Mann are OEM.

Timing belt, no point checking with Audi main desk they will give you conflicted answer as even Audi change their mind. My rule of thumb for 4 cylinder engines is 60k miles or 5 years, whatever is sooner or 6 cylinder and 80k miles. That said pretty much all 6 cylinders are chain driven now. Change the water pump while you’re are in there plus tensioner pulley.

Gearbox oil, for manual, should be good for 100k miles. If Quattro, do rear diff too.

Nice one, I appreciate the thorough reply

All your suggestions sound sensible to me, and inline with other vehicles I have owned.
What is so confusing is the conflicting info out there, i guess it ultimately comes down to personal choice?

Audi recommended Cam belt every 140k!!! I thought this sounded crazy, especially considering the water pump is unlikely to last that long from what I have read.

I have also read that the manual gearbox oil change should be done every 50k?
