Bought a set of Electric folding mirrors, i have the switch also and the modules that was with the car. Fitted to my non electric folding car, coded with vcds. All electrics work except the folding itself. Any ideas? What have i missed?

Managed to fit the motors from the a5 power folding mirrors to my a4 mirror and base. Mirror now folds but turns too far and would hit the window when fully shut, is there anyway to adjust how far the mirror would turn when closing?
