Hi all really needing some help locating a trust worthy garage to take a look at my audi a7 s tdonic gear box. I've visted a couple in the bradford area that have basically just given me the run around no diagnostic just the "yeah I know what it will be it will be either this much or this much".
Any help will be really appreciated.
These are the symptoms the car drives fine when driven gently I.e each gear will shift no issues but as soon as the car is in 6th gear and acceleration the needle jumps up and car shows gear box (malfunction you can continue to drive)
If I try drive the car normally I.e not lightly accelerating the car will thud into 4th and then thud into 5th and then show malfunction. Or if I let it thud into 4th and allow the car to shift down it will thud through every gear back to 1st.
Sorry for the long story but I'm going mad with it. It's done 71k purchased from audi approved used at 42k it had its transmission services from audi at 38k and I did a service at 61k as I started having issues with car in reverse.
