2010 A6 clutch & DMF replacement

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows a ballpark figure I should expect to pay for having the clutch and dmf replaced. I have been quoted £1500 for the work from a garage but this seems excessive if anyone has any recommendations either in Lincolnshire or Hull would be appreciated. Cheers
 
What engine is it?

Had mine done 4 years ago and paid about £700-800, if remember correctly.
Was't that bad, the clutch but it was slipping when pushed.

What is happening with yours?

2.0tdi.
It's not slipping. But bad juddering at times when pulling off on first gear. Also sounds a touch loud on idle. Did you have the dmf replaced at the same time as the clutch? As I'm sure that's what it is with mine more so than the clutch

Yes, both replaced same time and it is a good idea for it as they pulling it apart so might aswell do it, just in case
