Hi everyone, last year i've bought a beautiful 8V with only 40k km on the clock, it has everything I wanted and then some. The previous owner has done some mods to the car which is why i think the headlight washing system does not work.
Now to the worse part, here in Portugal if the car has headlight washing system it needs to work in inspection but I've never seen it work. I have access to VCDS and I've done an auto scan it's down here.
I've also went into 09 and checked the Channels that i could find related to them like Scheinwerferreinigung Headlamp washer system - which was off and i did enable it, the other channels that showed up when searching for Scheinwerferreinigung also had values in them, 1000 in each one, and the one that controlls number of windshield activations to activate headlight washing had 10. left it at that.
what other channels can i check before trying to get this fixed at audi (because they'll more likely remove my sports dials in my Digital Cockpit)?
is there anyway to get vcds to tell the car to use the headlight washing system or just with the stalk?

I've also went into 09 and checked the Channels that i could find related to them like Scheinwerferreinigung Headlamp washer system - which was off and i did enable it, the other channels that showed up when searching for Scheinwerferreinigung also had values in them, 1000 in each one, and the one that controlls number of windshield activations to activate headlight washing had 10. left it at that.
what other channels can i check before trying to get this fixed at audi (because they'll more likely remove my sports dials in my Digital Cockpit)?
is there anyway to get vcds to tell the car to use the headlight washing system or just with the stalk?
