Quite astounding really that when you go to get a quote with pretty much 99.9% of the insurance industry they fail to recognise the hard earned money you have invested in the security of the vehicle...
Battled today to secure a quote for my S3, taking into account the level of security I have invested in... No one recognises the latest S5 tracker systems, Ghost is still frowned upon cos its not Thatcham approved and as for dash cams they are seen as a "modification" in the eyes of insurance companies and not "security"...
Sorry for the rant but these companies and underwriters really need to get up to speed on the security side of the insurance market and get up to date.
