Hi Folks, I've now had my well spec'd 64 plate S5 for almost 3 years (CREC ENGINE). It's covered 65k miles, 49k when I bought it. I've had almost 3 years of hassle free motoring in a fabulous car. Car has a full Audi service history, I carry out extra oil changes every 5k to 6k miles in between servicing.
Recently the Engine Management Light has come on either at start up or while diving. The light will go out its self sometimes. Other times I've reset it with a Carista code reader. Codes are P2014 - Intake and 15197 - Intake runner.
When the light is on the car runs perfectly well in all modes. It doesn't go into limp mode, no loss of power, no smoke, no loss of oil, no misfire, no stuttering nothing.
I have an RAC Platinum warranty which expires in September this year, but it's not clear if they will support a replacement PCV valve, if that is the issue.
RAC recommend a local reputable (if there is such a thing!!) workshop who carried out diagnostics and they say they now need to remove the super charger before they can say for certain if the PCV is faulty, or if its a hose or a connection. Once they know that they will report to the RAC to see if they will cover the cost. They did say that if RAC won't cover the cost it will cost me over a grand, the guy said its a pig of a job and will take around 6 hours to take it all apart too enable further inspection. I've attached the diagnostic report.

The fact its so random, the light goes off its self, no decrease in power or performance makes me think it might be a loose connection or perished hose etc. I'm not sure what to do, should I bite the bullet and have them do the work? I'm actually fairly confidant I can strip it down myself and put it all together myself, but looking at the number of connections, hoses, wiring looms etc I'm concerned that I do all that and I still have the problem.

So after that ramble any thoughts or advise would be much appreciated?
Thanks
