Has anyone had any experience changing the yaw rate sensor on an S3 8L?

I've got the drivers trim panel off and located the sensor to the left side, high up, on the steering column. The sensor is attached to a bracket with two nuts; the bracket itself is bolted to the steering column.

I think what I'm supposed to do is unbolt the bracket from the steering column and then remove/replace the sensor from the bracket but I'm finding it impossible to get any tools on any of the bolts given it's location

Any tips from anyone on this?

thanks,

Yeah, that's what I used to find the sensor; on the S3 the sensor/bracket is on the other side of the steering column. Also, that diagram shows that the bracket bolt is above the top line of the G202/yaw sensor whereas I am finding it just below the top line of the sensor which makes getting tools on it impossible for me

Just out of interest where did you buy the YAW sensor from? Mine is faulty and I must admit I've not looked but if you got it from a reputable source its worth trying
