This is a thread just for info really as I think there is a significant issue with the 190 TDI Ultra engine from googling.
My A6 Avant engine management light came on a few weeks ago, fault code P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1 was logged.
Local indie VW/Audi garage went for first port of call with a DPF pressure sensor replacement - didn't fix the problem.
Today they have removed the EGR and just look at it... Looks like hardened Adblue deposit
Car has 104k on the clock, spends 90% of the time cruising at 70mph on the motorway - do we collectively think there is anyway to prevent this, or is it going to be an expensive (looking at £1k at an indie) replacement every 100k miles?!
