WTF is going on with their grille design?! This front is absolutely horrible looking. It's something between malformation and Ford, neither is good when we should be talking about Audi. There's nothing wrong in the FL A3 grille after seeing this monstrosity.

To be continued... After seeing some of the comments in YouTube video presentations of the car it seems like I'm alone disliking the grille that much. The rest of the car looks quite ok, have to get used to it a bit. Mostly the Q6 like interior seems to be what's upsetting people.

I wonder what UK pricing will be and if we are forced to have the diesel S5 engine again or if we get petrol…

My fear is that prices and costs have gone up too much to be competitive with options available now from other brands… who do seem to have caught up to Audi quality, design and fun levels.

It's going to be a petrol S5 in the UK with a 20bhp increase over the current Diesel one

Good news on the petrol engine and power output.

Will watch for pricing… but read it’ll start at over £60k which seems inline with other prices.

Saw an A5 this week and sat in it. It was very basic trim without the passenger screen. I have to say the look of the exterior has grown on me a lot, grille still a bit odd but otherwise very handsome car, and definitely more modern looking than the outgoing ones. But unfortunately the interior wasn't that convincing - while it looks somehow ok, there were many plastic parts that looked like business but felt like there was just the surface, material actually very thin and also the structures behind felt less rigid than in older Audis. And the blank shiny black panel where the passenger screen would be was terrible, it's a completely unwarranted element that will only cause dazzling sun reflections. Gone are the physical HVAC controls and lastly the stop-sign shaped steering wheel was simply ugly af, even worse than in pictures. And this is the interior that's been copied 1:1 to all the new Audi models with no effort to identificate it to a certain model.

Reviews say it's a decent new car and drives even better than the old one but there's truly a lot to stomach in that interior.

New A6 was released yesterday. Looks like they found the misisng part of the A5 grille, as the one of the new A6 is massive, I think little less would have been better. I still instantly thought it's a good looking car. That hasn't happened for a while.

But too bad the interior is again the exact same as in the other new models! Not a single alteration. If you were to sit blindfolded in a new A5, Q5, Q6 or any of the A6 variants, there would be absolutly nothing where you cloud identify which one you're sitting in. And now that I've driven some of those cars, I can say I don't want them.

The A6 grille reminds me of this:

We had a big car show in Helsinki, first one in a long, long time. They already had the new A6 on show! I have to say I liked it a lot. The grille isn't that over pronounced seen alive and the rest is just a home run. Too bad the interior is what it is. The outgoing model is so much more consistent and feels better built.

Took few pics but unfortunately they aren't that sharp. I'll share them anyway. Too bad they don't do any justice to the design really. The front still looks huge unlike alive, and the rear shot was meant to showcase the shape of the side but it just looks much more flat than in the flesh. Lovely color though, and it looks the same in the pic as in real life.
