I always snow foam, then citrus pre wash but I still get little black bits stuck to the paint that don’t come off with the contact wash. They come off with my finger nail. How are you supposed to get bits like this off if they don’t come off with wash mit? It’s not stuff that needs tar remover as it comes off with my nail, but shows up easy on my white car so it’s pretty annoying.

if it dosent come off with wash but with fingernail then it is tar... if you spray a little bit of tar remover and then wait, if it starts to create small brown streaks then its tar, but yes clay bar will do the trick

They just seem like light bits of dirt, clay bar is too extreme for daily wash. I’ll spray some tar remover on and see if it’s tar or not

It will be tar spots. Used to own Ibis White Allroad. Especially if days have been warm you'll see it. I've never used tar remover. Damp microfibre with a dash of petrol.

If you're going for full detail, then claybar (keep wet and lightly lubed) and alcohol wipe before you polish or apply wax.

As mentioned they will be tar. Clay bar is not a daily task, it is once every 6-12 months but it will clear all these contaminants

After applying diesel fuel and waiting for a while, you will see that it flows easily. It does no harm to the paint either. Just be careful not to apply too much to the rubber parts.
